Who are we?
We are an young and rapidly growing company specializing in trade and services. Our company was established in 1999. Our main strength is our knowledge and experience in partnership with other countries, we honor this as our success. In the recent years we generally operate in trade on the Ukrainian market. Our biggest asset is that we own a loading terminal by the Wide – Gauge Railway Line (LHS is the furthest –West wide – gauge railway Line in Europe.) in the town of Staszow (Swiętokrzyskie Voivodeship).
What do we deal with?
Our company – SAMA- specializes in the usage of Wide – Gauge Railway Line (LHS). Thanks to the LHS we import different goods from the Ukraine. When the goods reach Staszów they are then loaded onto freight trucks and driven to the customer. We also ensure the possibility of trans-loading from wide – gauge railway carriages (“S” – 1520 mm) to standard – gauge railway (“N” – 1435 mm) carriages to insure further transport to final destinations in Poland and Europe. Our other services include shipment, trans – shipment, storage and transport.
What is our mission?
The mission of our company is to pursue the best possible way to use railway as an alternative for traditional heavy-vehicle transportation. We want to maximize possible income resulting from the closeness of Poland and the Ukraine. This is key for our mission as is the fact that we do believe that this can help and preserve the natural environment and the state of Polish and Ukrainian roads. In the future we would like to contribute to the most effective usage of the LHS railway system in transport of goods within Europe and Asia.
Where are we heading?
Our main goal is constant growth. To achieve our aim we invest into our company and also try to look for new business partners. Recently our company has bought a plot of land which is 10 hectares in the town of Grzybów (10 km away from Staszów Railway Station), the land has direct access to both wide – gauge ( 4.5 km of “S” – 1520 mm railway lines) and standard (1 km of “N” – 1435 mm railway lines) railway lines and is located in the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone. These railway lines need costly renovation. In the near future we have the desire to begin a large investment which will consist of constructing a trans-shipment terminal and a bonded warehouse. SAMA company's long term objective is to affiliate co-operation and trade exchange with other countries of the former USSR. We also believe that in the future trade between Europe and the East will be directed in both ways, thus is why railway transport will be a priority and we intend to intensively participate in this aspect.
